KEENE, N.H. – Sophomore
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) picked up right where she left off during an outstanding rookie campaign to aid the Plymouth State University women's cross country team to a third place finish at the Keene State Alumni Meet at the Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday.
Karow returns after having arguably the best rookie season for a women's cross country and track & field athlete and showed no signs of slowing down in the season debut. Karow finished second in the two-mile race, trailing the winner by just eight seconds to cross the line in 12:08.90.
Plymouth State finished third as a team, trailing Little East Conference (LEC) rival Keene State by less than ten points, but leading conference foe UMass Boston by a wide margin.
