DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Senior
Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine) slashed nearly 45 seconds off his personal best time to lead the Plymouth State University men's cross country team at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Robert Dowd Cross Country Course on Saturday.
Flewelling cruised through the finish line in 25:50.26 to finish 40th overall and ninth among Division III runners to pace the Panthers.
Plymouth State finished 20th out of 44 teams, with the meet featuring full squads from all three NCAA divisions. The Panthers were eighth among Division III squads, finishing comfortably ahead of Little East Conference (LEC) foes Eastern Connecticut State, Southern Maine, Rhode Island College and UMass Boston.

How it Happened:
- Flewelling set the tone for the Panthers, cruising to a personal best time of 25:50.26 to finish 40th.
- Senior Connor Wilcox (Colchester, Conn.), junior Max Goodman (South Salem, N.Y.) and junior Luke Cloutier (Lyman, Maine) worked well as a group with all three runners finishing within a ten-second margin.
- Wilcox was 121st with a time of 27:02.13, with Goodman on his heels in 27:04.59. Goodman's time was more than a minute faster than his previous best.
- Cloutier crossed the line in 27:12.88 to finish 128th overall.
- Sophomore Angelo DeLuca (Lynnfield, Mass.) posted a 28:16.34, while classmate Ben Colby (Manchester, N.H.) closed out the Panthers' top five with a time of 28:49.90.
- Sophomore Andre Bailin (Amesbury, Mass.) and senior Eli Roth (Stamford, Conn.) rounded out PSU's runners.
