MANSFIELD, Conn. – The Plymouth State University women's soccer team was defeated by the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors, 4-1, in a Little East Conference (LEC) women's soccer clash at Rick McCarthy Field on Saturday.

The Warriors defense made it difficult for PSU to create scoring opportunities in the contest. The Panthers trailed 1-0 at the midway break, but three second half goals were enough for Eastern Connecticut to erase any thoughts of a comeback.

Plymouth State saw a penalty kick goal converted by senior
Piper Sullivan (Laconia, N.H.), which proved to be the lone tally for the Panthers in the contest.
