MSWIM: D’Addona wins twice as Panthers fall to Bridgewater State

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Sophomore Marco D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) won a pair of individual events to lead the Plymouth State University men's swimming team during a 168-59 setback to Bridgewater State University in a Senior Day dual meet at the PSU Natatorium on Saturday.

D'Addona was first to touch the wall in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle, winning both events by nearly a full second. Senior Lyden Fogg (South Portland, Maine) destroyed the competition in his signature event, the 100-yard backstroke, to win by more than eight seconds, while junior Brady Lyons (Methuen, Mass.) snagged the team's fourth event victory in the 50-yard butterfly.

Prior to the meet, Plymouth State recognized Fogg and senior Brady Martin (Auburn, Maine) for their contributions and commitment to the program.

Plymouth State falls to 1-8, while the Bears move to 3-6.
