PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Sophomore
Marco D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) won a pair of individual events to lead the Plymouth State University men's swimming team during a 168-59 setback to Bridgewater State University in a Senior Day dual meet at the PSU Natatorium on Saturday.
D'Addona was first to touch the wall in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle, winning both events by nearly a full second. Senior
Lyden Fogg (South Portland, Maine) destroyed the competition in his signature event, the 100-yard backstroke, to win by more than eight seconds, while junior
Brady Lyons (Methuen, Mass.) snagged the team's fourth event victory in the 50-yard butterfly.
Prior to the meet, Plymouth State recognized Fogg and senior
Brady Martin (Auburn, Maine) for their contributions and commitment to the program.
Plymouth State falls to 1-8, while the Bears move to 3-6.

How it Happened:
- Sophomore Liam Dugmore (Dover, N.H.) teamed up with Martin, Lyons and freshman Grady Hadlock (Littleton, N.H.) in the 200-yard medley relay to finish third in 1:58.83.
- D'Addona got his strong day off to a great start with a win in the 50-yard freestyle. His time of 24.22 seconds was just shy of a full second better than the next closest finisher.
- Fogg followed with a convincing win in the 100-yard backstroke, cruising to the win in 55.62 seconds.
- Lyons was first to touch the wall in the 50-yard butterfly in 25.87, just ahead of junior Brendan Lee (Dover, N.H.), who was second in 26.38.
- D'Addona followed with his second individual win of the day, cruising to victory in the 100-yard freestyle with a mark of 53.65.
- Lee and Fogg snared second and third in the 50-yard breaststroke. Lee was just off the pace of the leader to finish in 30.52 seconds, while Fogg touched the wall in 31.77.
- Lee, D'Addona, Hadlock and Fogg joined forces in the 200-yard freestyle relay, swimming to a third-place finish in 1:40.12.
