Crosby Fay (Thornton, N.H.) and the Plymouth State University men's lacrosse team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, rolling past Plattsburgh State University, 19-4, in a non-conference clash at the Plattsburgh State Soccer/Lacrosse Complex.
Fay led the charge with a game-high five goals and an assist, while junior
Brady Hunt (Billerica, Mass.) dished out five assists to fuel the Panthers' offensive onslaught.
The Panthers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, controlling possession and outshooting the Cardinals 47-30. A balanced attack saw ten different players find the back of the net, while senior
Ethan Schena (Methuen, Mass.) and sophomore
Colin Dillon (Boxford, Mass.) combined to make 11 saves to anchor the defense.
Plymouth State wins its third straight to jump to 3-1, while the Cardinals even out at 2-2.

How it Happened:
- Plymouth State established control early, outscoring Plattsburgh State 5-1 with goals from Fay, sophomore Aiden Renner (Phillipsburg, N.J.), and senior Ryan Jones (Tolland, Conn.).
- The Panthers extended their lead with an overpowering 6-0 run, heading into halftime with an 11-1 advantage.
- The hosts showed some life in the third quarter with two goals, but Plymouth State answered with four of its own to maintain a 15-3 lead.
