NEW LONDON, Conn. – A cluster of Plymouth State University track & field athletes competed at the Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College on Friday evening, putting together competitive finishes in the elite track events on Friday night.
Sophomore
Ben Colby (Manchester, N.H.) represented in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, posting the best finish for the Panthers by taking fifth in a time of 10:05.10. Senior
Connor Wilcox (Colchester, Conn.) raced the 10,000-meters and placed seventh with a time of 31:40.94, while classmate
Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine) was 15th in the 5,000-meters after crossing the line in 15:20.72. In the 800-meters, senior
Eli Roth (Stamford, Conn.) finished in the top-35 with a time of 2:02.29.
Sophomore
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) was the lone woman competing for the Panthers, running a 2:25.21 in the 800-meters for a spot in the top-20.
The bulk of the team heads to SNHU for the Ed Daniels Invitational on Saturday (Apr. 12).
