CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) reset her own school record in the 800-meters while representing the Plymouth State University women's track & field team at the Sean Collier Invitational, hosted by MIT at the Sherie and Don Morrison Track on Saturday.
Karow was the lone woman competing for the Panthers. She finished third in her heat and ninth overall with a new best 2:19.50. She sliced 0.39 seconds off her previous mark.
Seniors
Eli Roth (Stamford, Conn.),
Brayden White (Whitefield, N.H.), and
Connor Wilcox (Colchester, Conn.), and junior
Josh Rebello (North Dighton, Mass.) represented the men's team.
White finished fifth in the 400-meters with a time of 50.07 seconds, while Wilcox finished third in his heat of the 1,500-meters, crossing the line in 4:06.07. His mark was good enough for tenth overall, and sixth among NCAA Division III runners.
