PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Seniors
Brendan Lee (Dover, N.H.) and
Brady Lyons (Methuen, Mass.) celebrated their Senior Day with a pair of individual event wins as the Plymouth State University men's swim team fell to Keene State College, 135-86, in a dual meet at the PSU Natatorium on Saturday.
Lee claimed wins in the 50-yard breaststroke in 30.34 seconds and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:06.21. He added a runner-up finish in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 1:02.68.
Lyons posted a pair of season-best times in his two event wins – posting a 24.92 in the 50-yard butterfly and 59.19 in the 100-yard butterfly.
Junior
Marco D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) had a big day with three podium finishes, winning the 50-yard freestyle in 23.92 seconds and posting a season-best time of 53.42 seconds to win the 100-yard freestyle. He also took second in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:02.88.
Senior
Cory Boisselle (Methuen, Mass.) had two season-best times among his three individual events – taking second in the 50-yard backstroke in 31.47 seconds, and third in the 100-yard freestyle in 54.15 seconds. He also placed second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.18 seconds.
Sophomore
Karson Genakos (Gilford, N.H.) topped his own school record on the 1-meter board with a score of 147.75.
The Panthers closed the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, as D'Addona, Boisselle, Lyons, and Lee combined for a season-best 1:37.16.
As part of its Senior Day ceremonies, Plymouth State recognized Boisselle, Lee, and Lyons prior to the meet.
