PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Plymouth State University fell to the Western Connecticut State University Wolves, 78-66, in a Little East Conference (LEC) men's basketball game in Foley Gymnasium in a Saturday matinee.
The Panthers trailed by as many as 15 points early in the second half but sliced the deficit to five, 64-59, with five-plus minutes to play. Plymouth State was still in striking distance, with less than three minutes to play, but WestConn closed out the game with a 7-2 spurt.
