Brady Hunt (Billerica, Mass.) notched a second straight hat trick and freshman
Colby Walden (Londonderry, N.H.) tallied four assists as Plymouth State University used three fourth-quarter goals to rally past Curry College, 7-5, in a non-conference men's lacrosse matchup at Walter M. Katz Field on Saturday afternoon.
Curry tallied three straight goals in the second quarter, but Plymouth State answered in the final minute of the frame to cut the deficit to 4-3 at halftime. The Panthers briefly tied the game in the third, but Curry regained the lead, 5-4, heading to the fourth quarter.
Walden set up all three fourth-quarter tallies, finding freshman
Seamus Tattan (West Roxbury, Mass.) for a man-up goal to tie it before feeding Hunt less than a minute later to put PSU in front. Walden assisted Hunt for an insurance goal with 5:20 left to play and Plymouth State was able to hold on for the win.
Plymouth State won its third game of the week to improve to 3-2, while Curry slips to 1-4.

How it Happened:
- Curry opened the scoring at the 3:27 mark of the opening quarter, but Walden connected with Hunt to tie the game with 6:21 left in the first. Freshman Cam Brosnihan (North Andover, Mass.) scored late in the frame as PSU took a 2-1 lead into the second.
- The Colonels scored three straight times in the first six minutes of the second to take the lead, 4-2.
- Freshman Hunter Richards (Durham, Maine) found the back of the cage in the final minute to cut the deficit to 4-3 at the half.
- Junior Kevin Cougler (Dover, N.H.) briefly tied it with 9:24 left in the third, but Curry responded five minutes later to take a 5-4 lead into the fourth quarter.
- Tattan converted a man-up opportunity midway through the frame, and Hunt followed with another man-up goal less than a minute later to give the Panthers the lead, 6-5.
- Hunt added an insurance goal to complete the hat trick with just over five minutes remaining.
