LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Following another outstanding week in the circle, freshman
Allie Cecere (Plainville, Mass.) was recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) as a weekly top performer, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Cecere went 2-0 with one save, pitching to a 1.18 earned run average over 23.2 innings with two complete games.
The rookie southpaw has established herself as one of the Little East Conference's top hurlers, ranking second in the league with a 1.91 ERA while sporting a 9-4 record over 13 starts.
Plymouth State travels to Keene State for an LEC doubleheader today (Apr. 28) with games at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
