PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Senior
Mike Olson (Sutton, Mass.) won a pair of events and contributed on a winning relay squad while classmate
Jacob Rigoli (Essex, Vt.) also claimed a title to lead the Plymouth State University men's indoor track & field team to a fourth place finish at the Little East Conference (LEC) Championships at the Bank of New Hampshire Field House on Saturday.
Olson claimed victory in the 800-meter run and mile run, while running the anchor leg of PSU's winning 4x400-meter relay team, while Rigoli continued his dominance in the weight throw. The Panthers also claimed gold in the 4x800-meter relay.
Plymouth State finished fourth as a team with 94 points, just behind Southern Maine (99).

How it Happened:
- Olson claimed his first victory in the 800-meter run, narrowly missing a sub-two minute time after crossing the line in 2:00.47.
- Olson snagged his second win with a strong performance in the mile run after posting a time of 4:18.59.
- Seniors Brent Coope (Wolfeboro, N.H.), Colin Moar (Annandale, Va.) and Luke Gomes (Litchfield, N.H.) teamed up with junior Ryan Moyer (Dover, N.H.) to top the field in the 4x800-meter relay with a winning time of 8:10.24.
- Moar added a third-place finish in the 1,000-meter run after crossing the line in 2:33.30.
- Olson earned his third medal of the day after anchoring the 4x400-meter relay team, with sophomore Christian Oglesby (Penacook, N.H.), freshman Josh Rebello (North Dighton, Mass.) and junior Jyaire Hatcher (Uniondale, N.Y.) combining for a winning time of 3:28.28.
- Rigoli posted a winning heave of 18.38 meters in the weight throw and added a sixth place finish in the shot put with a toss of 12.62 meters.
- Hatcher qualified for the finals of the 60-meter dash with the fourth fastest time in the prelims at 7.21 seconds. He was a touch off the pace in the finals, finishing sixth in 7.25.
- Oglesby and freshman Zach Hodge (Springfield, N.H.) represented in the 400-meter dash. Oglesby took fourth in 51.71, with Hodge in sixth with a time of 53.55.
- Rebello was runner up in the 600-meters with a time of 1:25.80.
- Senior Michael Barrett (Hartford, Conn.) held off a challenge to place third in the 3,000-meter run in 9:02.35.
- Sophomore Jacob Gallaher (Gambrills, Md.) and classmate Connor Wilcox (Colchester, Conn.) took fourth and sixth in the 5,000-meter run in times of 15:46.66 and 16:03.45.
- Senior Owen Billin (Meredith, N.H.) was fifth in the triple jump after covering 12.87 meters.
