WH: Panthers tripped up by #11 Norwich

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Freshman Teagan Wilson (Salisbury, Mass.) surpassed the 40-save threshold for the third time this season but #11 Norwich University scored three first period goals on the way to a 5-0 win over Plymouth State University in a New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) women's ice hockey game at Hanaway Rink on Saturday afternoon.

The Cadets struck in the opening minute and added a power play goal at the 5:31 mark of the first before adding a third tally with 3:24 left in the frame. The visitors tacked on two more in the second before Plymouth State held the high-powered Cadets scoreless through the final period.

Plymouth State slips to 5-16-0 (5-9-0 NEHC), while the Cadets, ranked #11 in this week's USCHO.com national poll, jump to 14-5-2 (12-2-1 NEHC).
