Robyn Grant (Airdrie, Alberta) batted home the game-winner midway through the third period as Plymouth State University ousted Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), 3-2, in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's ice hockey game at Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rink on Friday night.
MCLA held a 1-0 lead after one, but Moffett tied things less than six minutes into the second. After the hosts retook the lead with a power play goal in the middle stages of the period, Moffett struck again with just two seconds on the clock to make it 2-2 after 40 minutes.
With the Panthers on a power play midway into the third, Grant slammed home the game-winner on a rebound as Plymouth State held on for the win.
PSU jumps to 6-3-0 and remains unbeaten in the MASCAC (3-0-0), while the Trailblazers move to 7-5-0 (1-3-0 MASCAC).

How it Happened:
- MCLA scored the lone goal of the opening period on a low angle shot midway through a power play with just over seven minutes left in the frame.
- Moffett squared the game early in the second. After Grant's initial shot, Moffett snuck the rebound into the open net to make it 1-1 5:44 into the frame.
- The Trailblazers used another power play tally with 6:22 left in the period to regain the lead, 2-1.
- Moffett struck again with just two seconds left in the stanza during a PSU power play. A shot from the point was kicked aside but Moffett was there to redirect the rebound into the goal.
- The game remained tied through the first half of the third period.
- It was another rebound opportunity that led to the game-winner, as Grant snagged the puck just outside the crease and slipped it into the goal for a 3-2 lead with 8:32 left to play.
- Plymouth State would shut down the MCLA attack the rest of the way to hold on for the win.
