PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Senior
Ty Miller (Groton, Conn.) and junior
Chase Anestis (Belmont, N.H.) continued their dominant seasons but New England College powered past Plymouth State University, 47-12, to spoil the Panthers'
Senior Day in a wrestling dual meet at Foley Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
Miller and Anestis picked up dominant wins by fall, but the Pilgrims combined for six pins to control the match.
Prior to the meet Plymouth State honored its seniors in a brief ceremony; Miller,
Jack Carrozzi (Bedford, N.H.),
Yuri Case (Fairfield, Conn.) and
Evan Kramich (Lynnfield, Mass.).
Plymouth State dips to 0-14, while the Pilgrims improve to 8-6.

How it Happened:
- NEC picked up a win by fall and technical fall victory before securing another six points on a forfeit to jump out to a 17-0 lead.
- Miller put the Panthers on the board with his pin at 165 pounds to improve to a team-best 22-10. The pin was his ninth of the season.
- Anestis also earned a win by fall at 184 pounds to improve to 17-6 on the season.
