WRE: Panthers face tough task against No. 14 Johnson & Wales

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Nick Savariego (Hillsdale, N.J.) earned a win at 125 pounds, but No. 14 Johnson & Wales University handled Plymouth State University, 50-6, in a wrestling dual match at the Wildcat Center on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Wildcats, featuring regionally ranked grapplers throughout the lineup, secured three pins and four technical falls. Savariego received a forfeit to account for the Panthers' six points.
 
Plymouth State is off next weekend in preparation for the NCAA Division III Northeast Regional Championship hosted by Coast Guard, beginning Feb. 28.
