NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Junior
Damari Goldsmith-Greene (Whitman, Mass.) won by fall at 157 pounds, but Norwich University erased a 19-12 deficit with four straight wins to trip up Plymouth State University, 34-19, in a wrestling dual meet at Andrews Hall on Wednesday night.
Norwich held a 12-6 lead after the first three bouts with the teams trading forfeits and the Cadets picking up a pin. PSU ripped off wins at 149, Goldsmith-Greene's pin at 157 and a major decision victory at 165 to leapfrog into the lead, 19-12, with four weight classes remaining.
The hosts picked up a major decision win at 174 to pull within 19-16, before securing the win with three straight pins to close out the night.
Plymouth State slips to 0-12 in dual meets, while the Cadets improve to 3-7.

How it Happened:
- Freshman Cam McMahon (East Hampstead, N.H.) snagged a win by forfeit at 125 pounds to open the scoring for the Panthers, but Norwich answered back with a win by fall at 133 pounds and a forfeit win of its own at 141.
- Junior Nick Antonucci (Windham, N.H.) held on for a 6-2 decision at 149 pounds to cut the margin to 12-9.
- Goldsmith-Greene followed with an impressive pin in 1:32 to give the Panthers the team lead, 15-12.
- Senior Ty Miller (Groton, Conn.) kept the momentum rolling with a big 13-1 major decision victory for his team-leading 21st win of the season.
- The Cadets responded with a major decision win at 174, before securing three straight wins by fall to close out the come-from-behind win.
