Ty Miller (Groton, Conn.) and senior
Chase Anestis (Belmont, N.H.) combined to go a perfect 5-0 and each picked up a pin to pace the Plymouth State University wrestling team at the Little East Conference Quadrangular at Foley Gymnasium on Saturday.
The duo each earned pins in PSU's opening round matchup with Southern Maine and Miller handled his opponent with a major decision win in the middle round, a battle with #7 Vermont State University Castleton. Anestis returned to the mat for a major decision win in the round three matchup with Rhode Island College, while Miller capped his perfect day with a 4-1 decision.
Plymouth State slips to 1-7 on the year. VTSU Castleton, which went 3-0 on the day, improves to 16-2, while RIC and Southern Maine end the day at 8-6 and 2-8, respectively.

How it Happened (Southern Maine):
- After Southern Maine opened up an early lead, Anestis made quick work of his opponent at 165 pounds to get the Panthers on the board. He needed just 19 seconds to secure the pin.
- Miller also picked up a win by fall at 184 pounds, securing the victory in 3:35, to account for the remainder of PSU's points.
How it Happened (VTSU Castleton):
- Senior Damari Goldsmith-Greene (Whitman, Mass.) picked up a medical forfeit win at 149 pounds.
- Miller outlasted his opponent at 184 pounds to claim an 18-5 major decision victory.
How it Happened (RIC):
- Anestis improved to 2-0 on the day with an 8-0 major decision victory at 165 pounds.
- Miller completed his unbeaten afternoon with a hard-fought 4-1 decision at 184 pounds.
