SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshmen Gabriel Berger (Shoreline, Wash.) and Thiago Delacruz (Hebron, Conn.) secured their first collegiate wins as the Plymouth State University wrestling team competed at the Doug Parker Invitational hosted by Springfield College on Saturday.
 
Berger picked up major decision victory, 28-14, in his opening bout to record his first career victory, while Delacruz secured his first-ever pin in the second period.
 
Plymouth State finished 12th in the team standings.
