PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men's indoor track & field team posted a first place finish at the PSU Alumni Meet at the Bank of New Hampshire Field House at ALLWell North on Saturday.
The Panthers totaled four first place finishes with freshman
Ty Shipmon (Yonkers, N.Y.) dominating the sprints with a victory in the 200-meter dash in a near program record time of 22.93 seconds. Shipmon has already broken the school record twice this season.
In distance, junior
Max Goodman (South Salem, N.Y.) won the 3,000-meters in 9:12.11.
Both the 4x200-meter relay of graduate student

Christian Oglesby (Penacook, N.H.), freshman
Gabe Kean (Thornton, N.H.) and junior
Nik Snyder (Pelham, N.H.) and the 4x400-meter relay team of Oglesby, freshman
Isaias Aguasvivas Pena (Marblehead, Mass.) and juniors
Joey Cappelletti (Mansfield, Mass.) and
Zach Hodge (Springfield, N.H.) won the events in times of 1:33.75 and 3:28.00, respectively.
Plymouth State secured 214 points to finish well ahead of NCAA Division II St. Anselm and Little East Conference foe UMass Boston.

How it Happened:
- Shipmon placed second in the 60-meter dash in a time of 7.06 seconds while also adding a victory in the 200-meters in 22.93 seconds.
- The 4x200-meter relay squad of Oglesby, Vachon, Kean and Snyder combined for a win in the event in 1:33.75.
- Senior Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine) took second in the mile run in 4:22.28.
- Sophomore Elijah Thomas (Stoughton, Mass.) came in second in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.65 seconds.
- Sophomore Nic Lamontagne (Lebanon, N.H.) scored third in the 400-meters when he crossed the line in 54.20 seconds.
- Goodman nabbed another PSU victory in the 3,000-meters in 9:12.11.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Oglesby, Aguasvivas Pena, Cappelletti and Hodge combined for a winning time of 3:28.00.
- Sophomore Kole Matta (Castleton, Vt.) placed second in the weight throw with a heave of 13.16 meters.
- In the long jump, Cappelletti also took second with a leap of 6.30 meters.
- Freshman Jake Leazott (Barre, Mass.) placed third in the shot put with a toss of 12.17 meters.
