WELLESLEY, Mass. – Every Plymouth State University women's swimmer in the finals swam a season best time in their respective events as the Panthers wrapped up the Little East Conference (LEC) Championships at the Boston Sports Institute on Sunday.
Junior
Olivia Bailey (Wrentham, Mass.) came up just shy of a third straight day of medals, finishing less than 0.90 seconds out of a podium spot to place sixth in the 50-yard backstroke. PSU had three representatives in the B finals of the 100-yard IM, while the Panthers 4x400-yard freestyle relay posted an impressive season best by nearly six full seconds.
Plymouth State wrapped up the three-day event with 163 points to finish 11th.

How it Happened:
- After medaling in both the 200-yard and 100-yard backstroke, Bailey had her eyes set on a clean sweep, but her 29.80 in the 50-yard backstroke was just a touch off bronze-medal pace as she finished sixth. Her time was 0.70 ahead of her season best.
- Junior Jackie Gaigals (Rochester, N.H.) led a trio of Panthers in the 100-yard IM. Gaigals took third in the B finals with a season best 1:08.36, topping her previous best by 3.84 seconds.
- Sophomore Ollie Kramer (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) was seventh in the B finals, just ahead of senior Liana Gobin (Belfast, Maine), who was eighth. Kramer topped her previous best by 4.56 seconds to finish in 1:11.84, while Gobin smashed her best by 6.25 seconds to touch the wall in 1:14.30.
- Plymouth State closed out the meet in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The foursome of Kramer, Bailey, sophomore Laurel Bennett (Rindge, N.H.) and Gaigals posted a season best by nearly six seconds to finish in 4:03.73.
