PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Plymouth State University came away with multiple wins and a program record for a fifth-place finish at the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Rhode Island College at the Providence Career & Technical Academy Field House on Saturday.
Senior
Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine) was a double winner in the mile run and 3,000-meters. He edged out the competition in the mile by just 0.22 seconds and posted a winning time of 8:54.37 in the 3,000-meters.
Classmate
Eli Roth (Stamford, Conn.) found a win in the 800-meters, breaking the two-minute barrier for the first time in 1:58.28.

Christian Oglesby (Penacook, N.H.), graduate student
Brandon Vachon (Ayer, Mass.), junior
Nik Snyder (Pelham, N.H.) and freshman
Gabe Kean (Thornton, N.H.) smashed a program record set earlier this season with a combined time of 1:32.58 to finish second.
The Panthers finished fifth as a team with 77 points.

How it Happened:
- The sophomore duo of Elijah Thomas (Stoughton, Mass.) and Shea McLaughlin (Byfield, Mass.) scored second and fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.56 and 9.02 seconds.
- Oglesby represented in the 400-meters when he placed fifth in a time of 51.49 seconds.
- Roth won the 800-meters in a career-best 1:58.28.
- Flewelling had his first victory of the day in the mile run in 4:20.65 and concluded with another win in the 3,000-meters in 8:54.37.
- Also scoring in the 3,000-meters was sophomore Angelo DeLuca (Lynnfield, Mass.), placing sixth in 9:18.38.
- Senior Connor Wilcox (Colchester, Conn.) came in third in the 5,000-meters in 15:24.01.
- The 4x200-meter relay team of Oglesby, Vachon, Snyder and Kean nabbed a program record on its way to a second-place finish in 1:32.58.
- In the 4x400-meter relay, Oglesby joined senior Joey Cappelletti (Mansfield, Mass.), junior Zach Hodge (Springfield, N.H.) and senior Brayden White (Whitefield, N.H.) with another second-place finish in 3:28.10.
- The 4x800-meter squad of junior Josh Rebello (North Dighton, Mass.), sophomore Ben Colby (Manchester, N.H.), junior Luke Cloutier (Lyman, Maine) and Roth combined for a third-place finish in 8:16.21.
- Freshman Cooper Conklin (Cumberland, R.I.) placed fourth in the weight throw with a heave of 14.53 meters.
