CASTINE, Maine – Senior
Kevin Henry (Stratham, N.H.) continued to add to his already stellar 2024-25 season, leading the Plymouth State University men's basketball team past the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners, 80-67, in a non-conference match at the Margaret Chase Smith Gymnasium on Tuesday evening.
Henry finished the contest leading all scorers with 34 points, tying his career high. Senior
Kevin Newton-Delgado (Hopkinton, N.H.) was the only other Panther to record double-digit points with 11 in the winning effort for the Panthers.
Henry has now scored 20 or more points in seven of the team's last ten games, a stretch that includes both of his 34-point performances.
Plymouth State improves to 10-10 on the season, while the Mariners fall to 12-7.

- The Panthers jumped out to an early 12-5 lead with 14:42 on the clock in the first half.
- Plymouth State extended the margin to 12 points (20-8) midway through the opening half.
- The Mariners cut into the deficit, shortening the gap to 32-30 with 4:01 remaining until halftime.
- Plymouth State closed out the final minutes of the first with a 9-3 run to take a 41-33 lead into the locker room.
