PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Graduate student
Ty Miller (Groton, Conn.) and senior
Chase Anestis (Belmont, N.H.) were both winners as the Plymouth State University wrestling team fell to Norwich University, 42-9, in a dual meet at Foley Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
Norwich won a pair of bouts by technical fall to take an early lead. Anestis, wrestling two levels above his normal weight class, battled to a win by decision and Miller, also wrestling above his weight class, followed with a pin to make it a one point deficit. The Cadets took over from there, taking the final six bouts to secure the win.
Prior to the meet, Plymouth State recognized the team's seniors for their contributions and dedication to the program: Anestis, Miller,
Nick Antonucci (Windham, N.H.),
Damari Goldsmith-Greene (Whitman, Mass.),
Colin Hile (Walpole, Mass.),
Robert Tarasuk (Hampton, N.H.) and manager
Jake Beaton (Bristol, R.I.).
