NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Plymouth State University men's and women's indoor track & field teams are both ranked No. 22 in the East Region in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI), released this week.
The women slid two spots to 22nd with 21.86 points, while the men dropped one spot to 22nd with 13.10 points.
Sophomore

Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) cleared 1.58 meters in the high jump to rank 10th in the East, while freshman

The men's team did not produce any regionally ranked performances over the weekend, though freshmen
Griffin Massahos (Londonderry, N.H.) and
Enzo Valenti (Montville, Conn.) each posted top-10 finishes in their respective events. Massahos placed ninth in the 200 meters in 23.32 seconds and was also 11th in the 60 meters open division in 7.34 seconds. Valenti delivered PSU's top performance, placing eighth in the weight throw with a mark of 14.95 meters.
The TFRI is a complex mathematical system used as the benchmark to rank collegiate track and field teams since 2008.
