PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Freshman
Harry Duncan (Ramsdell, United Kingdom) of the Plymouth State University alpine ski team has been selected to represent his native Great Britain at the 45th Fédération Internationale de Ski et de Snowboard (FIS) Alpine Junior World Ski Championships in Narvik, Norway from Mar. 5-15.
The prestigious event features the top alpine skiing athletes in the world under the age of 21, with selections typically based on FIS point rankings and performances in elite regional circuits such as the Nor-Am and European Cup.
Duncan, who appeared in three EISA carnivals for the Panthers this season, will compete in the slalom, giant slalom and the slalom portion of the team combined at Narvikfjellet Ski Resort. The men's team combined is scheduled for Mar. 9, followed by the giant slalom on Mar. 13 and the slalom on Mar. 15.
