PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Eighteen members of the Plymouth State University alpine ski teams earned national academic recognition as the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association (USCSCA) announced its National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team.
To be eligible, student-athletes must have used a year of eligibility and maintained a 3.50 cumulative grade point average through the completion of the Spring 2026 semester.
All 11 members of the women's team were honored: senior
Gill Hamilton (Ottawa, Ontario), sophomores
Maxine Van Strien-Tuttle (Clarksburg, Ontario),
Marlene Sophie Krohn (Drammen, Norway),
Megan Heckey (Québec City, Québec),
Laurence Bouchard (Québec City, Québec) and
Olivia Andersson (Vaxholm, Sweden), and freshmen
Deavyn Parchewsky (Calgary, Alberta),
Julia Mueller (Muenchen, Germany),
Jailyn Lubitz (Waterville Valley, N.H.),
Erin Husken (North Vancouver, British Columbia) and
Märta Hahlin (Arvidsjaur, Sweden).
The men's team had an additional seven honorees: senior
Vincent Fosser (Helsingborg, Sweden), junior
Angus Somers (Ottawa, Ontario), sophomore
Alvin Guteland Beiming (Södertälje, Sweden), and freshmen
Ryan Wagner (Ottawa, Ontario),
Javier Lorrain-Beaucage (Montréal, Québec),
Charlie Howe (Lake Placid, N.Y.) and
Harry Duncan (Ramsdell, United Kingdom).
Led by sixth-year head coach
Trevor Hamilton, the men posted a season-best fourth-place team finish at the UVM giant slalom, while the women were fifth in the GS at the EISA Championship at Middlebury. Guteland Beiming posted the top overall individual finish, taking third in the GS at the EISA Championship, while Heckey was the top female finisher in five carnival races, including an eighth-place showing at the Colby Carnival slalom.
