PURCHASE, N.Y. - Four Manhattanville women's hockey
players finished with a four-point night Friday evening as the
Valiants defeated ECAC East member Plymouth State University, 17-0,
at Playland Ice Casino.
The Valiants,
ranked ninth in the US College Hockey Online Division III poll,
were led by freshman Alyssa Taylor (Craik, Sask.)
with three goals and an assist. Fellow classmates Katie
Little (Victoria, B.C.) and Sonia
Occhionero (Montreal, Que.) also finished with two
goals and two assists respectively. Senior Alex
Findlay (Collingwood, Ont.) also had four points with one
goal and three assists.
Manhattanville
(12-4-1, 10-2-1 ECAC East) will be back on the ice Saturday as they
welcome Southern Maine to Playland Ice Casino for a 4:30 p.m. puck
drop. Plymouth State (0-18-0, 0-13-0 ECAC East) will travel
to take on New England College next Friday at 4 p.m.
