PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Sophomore
Matt Canfield (Bethel, Conn.) won two individual events and added a second-place finish as Plymouth State University fell to Eastern Connecticut State University, 95-58, in a virtual men's swim meet on Saturday morning.
Junior
Ryan Kudish (North Providence, R.I.) added two second-place finishes, while sophomore
James Farrell (Brentwood, England) contributed a trio of thirds. Freshman
Thomas Steinberg (Melrose, Mass.) grabbed a pair of third places, with junior
Noah Albion (Dover, N.H.) also chipping in with a third.
Swimming in the program's inaugural season, the Panthers went 0-2 and only had one in-person dual meet due to COVID-related restrictions. With the entire roster expected back, however, the future of the program looks to be in great shape.
