WELLESLEY, Mass. – Senior
Lyden Fogg (South Portland, Maine) claimed his fourth career medal and junior
Brendan Lee (Dover, N.H.) reset his own school record in the 200-yard IM to lead the Plymouth State University men's swim team on day one of the Little East Conference (LEC) Championships at the Boston Sports Institute on Friday.
Fogg won bronze in the 200-yard backstroke for the second straight year with an impressive season best time, while Lee shaved nearly two full seconds off his own school record mark in the A finals of the 200-yard IM.
Junior
Brady Lyons (Methuen, Mass.) also made an appearance in the A finals, finishing eighth in the 100-yard butterfly, while senior
Brady Martin (Auburn, Maine) won the B finals of the 50-yard breaststroke. Both posted season-best times in their respective events.
Plymouth State scored 107 points on day one to rank sixth in the team standings.

How it Happened:
- Fogg, Lee, Lyons and sophomore Marco D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) combined to represent PSU in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The foursome finished sixth in a season best time of 1:34.71.
- Lyons carried the momentum into the A finals of the 100-yard butterfly, where he placed eighth in 56.87, establishing a new personal best for the year.
- Martin followed by winning the B finals in the 50-yard breaststroke in a personal best time of 30.32 seconds – nearly two full seconds faster than his previous best.
- Fogg continued to prove his dominance in the backstroke at the conference level. A year after earning three medals at the LEC Championships, he was right back on the podium with a season best time of 2:01.23 to claim bronze. He topped his previous best mark by 3.25 seconds. The first and second-place finishers both posted times under the previous meet record.
- D'Addona and freshman Grady Hadlock (Littleton, N.H.) represented in the 50-yard freestyle. D'Addona was fifth in the B finals in 23.77 seconds, while Hadlock was just two spots behind him with a 25.92. Both marks were season bests.
- Lee wrapped up the individual events with a school record performance in the 200-yard IM. His time of 2:11.17 in the A finals was good enough for eighth and topped his own previous mark by 1.93 seconds.
- The Panthers closed out day one with the 400-yard medley relay, where sophomore Liam Dugmore (Dover, N.H.) teamed up with Martin, Lyons and Hadlock to finish fifth in 4:20.00.

- The championships continue with day two on Saturday (Feb. 15). Prelims are set for 10:00 a.m., with event finals to begin at 6:30 p.m.
