WELLESLEY, Mass. – Junior
Lyden Fogg (South Portland, Maine) wrapped up an outstanding weekend with a third bronze medal in as many days as the Plymouth State University men's swim team wrapped up the Little East Conference (LEC) Championship on Sunday.
A day after setting the school record for the 50-yard backstroke to open the 200-yard medley relay, Fogg eclipsed the mark again to finish third and collect a sixth career medal.
Juniors
Brendan Lee (Dover, N.H.) and
Brady Lyons (Methuen, Mass.) were also in record-setting form. Lee topped the mark in the A finals of the 200-yard breaststroke, while Lyons smashed the 200-yard butterfly record by nearly nine seconds.
The Panthers completed the three-day meet with 275 points to finish sixth.

How it Happened:
- Sophomore Marco D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) opened with a sixth place finish in the B finals of the 100-yard freestyle. He set a season best by just shy of a full second after touching the wall in 52.51 seconds.
- In the final individual event of a storied career, Fogg went out with yet another program record to claim a sixth career medal, taking bronze in the 50-yard backstroke in 24.99 seconds.
- Sophomore Liam Dugmore (Dover, N.H.) swam in the B finals of the same event, finishing seventh in 33.25.
- Lee qualified for the A final of the 200-yard breaststroke, where he set a new school record by 1.52 seconds, posting a season best time by 6.84 seconds to finish seventh in 2:21.92.
- In the B finals of the event, senior Brady Martin (Auburn, Maine) took fourth by shaving more than four seconds off his previous best to finish in 2:42.39.
- Lyons won the B final of the 200-yard butterfly. His time of 2:17.97 was not only a school record by nearly nine seconds but also a season best by more than 13.5 seconds.
- Plymouth State wrapped up the meet in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Fogg, freshman Grady Hadlock (Littleton, N.H.), Lee and D'Addona tag-teamed to finish sixth in 3:35.88 in a season best time by 3.79 seconds.
