MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Senior
Libby McIntyre (Greene, Maine) set the program in the hammer throw for the Plymouth State University women's track & field team at the Middlebury Invitational at Middlebury College on Saturday.
McIntyre established the mark last May but topped that by 0.63 meters after a heave of 43.52 meters. She placed second in the event.
Senior
Paige Hurst (Pelham, N.H.) won the 200-meters and added a third-place showing in the 100-meters, while freshman
Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) won the high jump after clearing 1.51 meters.
Plymouth State was squaring off against a regional group of NCAA Division II and III schools.

How it Happened:
- McIntyre threw a program-record distance of 43.52 meters to take second in the hammer throw. Junior Kylie Taylor (Orford, N.H.) and freshman Brenna Daniels (Cumberland, R.I.) were fifth and sixth with heaves of 40.18 and 37.67 meters, respectively.
- Junior Isabel Costa (Harrisville, R.I.) placed eighth in the 1,500-meters in 5:37.94.
- Classmate Megan Moynihan (Hingham, Mass.) came in third in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.93 seconds.
- Hurst and junior Cass Hanson (Stetson, Maine) finished third and fourth in the 100-meter dash in times of 13.15 and 13.55 seconds.
- Sophomore Abby Bergeron (Essex, Vt.) nabbed fifth in the 800-meters in 2:38.83.
- Flynn ran in the 400-meter hurdles and scored fourth in 1:07.82. Moynihan was seventh in 1:13.21.
- Hurst won the 200-meters in 26.91 seconds, as Hanson placed sixth in 27.65.
- Sophomore Olivia Neely (Old Town, Maine) placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 9.48 meters. She was also seventh in the discus (9.48m).
- Freshman Sofia D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) placed seventh in the javelin with a toss of 25.45 meters.
- Flynn won the high jump after clearing 1.51 meters, while sophomore Emma Couturier (Turner, Maine) placed third with a mark of 1.41 meters. Couturier also finished seventh in the long jump following a leap of 4.70 meters.
