DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Sophomore
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) and freshman
Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) won events to highlight the Plymouth State University women's track & field team as the Panthers finished seventh at the Little East Conference (LEC) Championships at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on Sunday.
Karow continued her dominant season in the 800-meters when she ran a 2:20.02 to win the event by roughly one second.
Flynn made contributions all over the place, starting with a winning performance in the high jump when she cleared an astonishing 1.62 meters to break the program record. She added a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.43 seconds and took third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:09.64.
Plymouth State scored seventh as a team with 53 points.

How it Happened:
- The 4x100-meter relay crew of Flynn, seniors Montana Casa (Storrs Mansfield, Conn.) and Paige Hurst (Pelham, N.H.), and junior Cass Hanson (Stetson, Maine) ran a time of 51.41 seconds to place fifth.
- Freshman Mia Sweeney (Plymouth, Mass.) finished sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:14.18.
- Flynn crossed the line in fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.43 seconds.
- Hurst came in fourth in the 400-meters in a time of 1:01.71.
- Karow won the 800-meters in 2:20.02.
- Flynn continued her day in the 400-meter hurdles with a third-place finish in 1:09.64. Junior Megan Moynihan (Hingham, Mass.) followed in fifth with a time of 1:13.12.
- The 4x400-meter squad of Hanson, Karow, Hurst, and freshman Haley Greenwood (Laconia, N.H.) finished third in 4:15.34.
- Senior Kylie Taylor (Orford, N.H.) landed second in the hammer throw with a toss of 42.69 meters.
- Flynn won the high jump after she cleared a program-record height of 1.62 meters.
