Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) and freshman
Clare Tuohy (Sunapee, N.H.), along with the Plymouth State University 4x100-meter relay team, all set program records as the Panthers kicked off the 2026 outdoor season at the SNHU Spring Open at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium on Thursday.
Flynn shaved more than 0.40 seconds off the record in the 400-meter hurdles, while Tuohy set a new program mark in the 200 meters. The duo also teamed up with freshman
Lisi Palmer (Brunswick, Maine) and senior
Cass Hanson (Stetson, Maine) in the 4x100-meter relay, setting a school record by 0.45 seconds to place second.

Meet Highlights:
- Fresh off a record-setting indoor season, Tuohy continued to etch her name into the record books, clocking a 25.82 in the 200 meters to place fourth. Her time was 0.31 seconds faster than the previous record.
- Flynn broke the 400-meter hurdles record by 0.42 seconds, placing second in 1:07.07.
- Flynn, Palmer, Hanson, and Tuohy placed second in the 4x100-meter relay with a record-setting time of 49.76 seconds.
- Flynn added a third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.93.
- Junior Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) placed third in the 800 meters in 2:24.82, while classmate Abby Bergeron (Essex, Vt.) was sixth in 2:31.42.
- Karow, sophomore Abby Marston (Greene, Maine), and freshmen Madison Geddes (Penacook, N.H.) and Emma Talon (Southington, Conn.) teamed up to place third in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:31.09.
- Talon added a fifth-place finish in the 1,500 meters in 5:02.23, just ahead of Bergeron, who was ninth in 5:11.55.
- Sophomore Mia Sweeney (Plymouth, Mass.) finished fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:00.90.
- Sophomore Haley Greenwood (Laconia, N.H.) was ninth in the 400 meters in 1:08.69, while freshman Cat Rousseau (Swansea, Mass.) placed ninth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:24.33.
- Junior Emma Couturier (Turner, Maine) took sixth in the long jump with a mark of 4.88 meters.
- In the throws, senior Olivia Neely (Old Town, Maine) finished sixth in the discus qualifiers (28.02 meters) and ninth in the shot put qualifiers (9.83 meters).
- Freshman Ella Fong (Merrimack, N.H.) placed 14th in the javelin qualifiers with a throw of 25.30 meters.
