MANSFIELD, Conn. – Junior
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) and freshman
Lisi Palmer (Brunswick, Maine) earned individual gold medals, and Plymouth State University claimed two relay wins while setting three relay program records at the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship at Mansfield Outdoor Complex on Saturday.
Karow captured the 800 meters, while Palmer won the high jump. PSU's 4x400 and 4x800-meter relay squads both delivered school-record, gold-medal performances, while the Panthers' 4x100-meter relay also ran a program-best time, placing fourth.
Sophomore
Mia Sweeney (Plymouth, Mass.) earned a bronze medal with a school-record time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, and freshman
Clare Tuohy (Sunapee, N.H.) set a program record in the 400 meters while narrowly missing the podium.
Plymouth State scored 71.5 points to finish seventh, just a half-point behind UMass Boston.

Meet Highlights:
- Palmer had a huge day, clearing 1.57 meters in the high jump to win gold. She also teamed with sophomores Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) and Amelia Lefebvre (Greenland, N.H.), along with Tuohy, to win the 4x400-meter relay in a school-record 4:00.55.
- Karow also earned a pair of gold medals, clocking 2:19.56 to win the 800 meters. She added a second gold as the anchor of PSU's school-record 4x800-meter relay, joining junior Abby Bergeron (Essex, Vt.), sophomore Abby Marston (Greene, Maine) and freshman Madison Geddes (Penacook, N.H.).
- Sweeney claimed bronze in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a school-record time of 12:23.18.
- PSU's 4x100-meter relay team of senior Cass Hanson (Stetson, Maine), Lefebvre, Palmer, and Tuohy narrowly missed the podium, placing fourth in a school-record 49.22.
- Tuohy reset her own program record in the 400 meters, finishing fourth in 58.08.
- Hanson clocked 13.25 in the prelims of the 100 meters and added a 27.05 in the 200 meters to place 12th.
- Geddes and Bergeron joined Karow in the 800 meters, placing fifth (2:25.84) and sixth (2:26.41), respectively.
- Junior Molly Glew (Plymouth, N.H.) clocked 5:10.26 in the 1,500 meters to place seventh.
- Flynn qualified sixth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.74, then improved to 15.50 in the finals to place fifth.
- Lefebvre added a sixth-place finish in the high jump after clearing 1.47 meters.
- Senior Olivia Neely (Old Town, Maine) placed 10th in the discus (28.72m) and 13th in the shot put (10.13m).
