MEDFORD, Mass. – Sophomore Amelia Lefebvre (Greenland, N.H.) closed out the weekend with a ninth-place finish in the heptathlon at the Tufts Spring Invitational at the Gantcher Center on Saturday.
 
Lefebvre opened the day with the long jump, where her leap of 4.30 meters placed 17th. She followed with a mark of 26.21 meters in the javelin to finish 11th, before wrapping up the competition in the 800 meters. Her time of 2:38.29 was ninth-fastest, giving her 3,695 total points and securing a ninth-place overall finish.
 
Lefebvre will rejoin the rest of the squad at the Middlebury Invitational at Middlebury College next Saturday (Apr. 18).
