CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore
Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) finished fourth in the high jump to pace the Plymouth State University women's outdoor track & field team at the Sean Collier Invitational, hosted by MIT at Sherie and Don Morrison Track on Saturday.
Competing against top regional teams from both NCAA Division I and III, the Panthers recorded multiple top-10 finishes.
Flynn cleared 1.58 meters to place fourth, while juniors
Abby Bergeron (Essex, Vt.) and
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) ran season-best times to place eighth in the 800 meters and 1,500 meters, respectively. Bergeron clocked 2:26.07, while Karow led a trio of Panthers in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:59.66. Freshman
Madison Geddes (Penacook, N.H.) and sophomore
Mia Sweeney (Plymouth, Mass.) also competed in the 1,500 meters, placing 27th (5:19.33), and 35th (5:26.75).
The Panthers head to Eastern Connecticut State for the Little East Conference Championship next Saturday (Apr. 25).
