MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Middlebury College scored
13 runs in the first three innings and never looked back on its way
to a 15-7 non-conference baseball win over Plymouth State
University Wednesday on Forbes Field. The home team pounded out 16

Erich Enns singled down the left field line to score Danny Seymour.

PSU answered in the top of the second when sophomore Joe
Eramo (Shirley, Mass.) ripped a three-run triple to right
center to make it a 5-3 game. An RBI single to short by Seymour in
the bottom of the inning plated Wark to make it 6-3. Eramo finished
4-for-4 with a walk, a triple and three RBI to pace Plymouth State,
while sophomore Mike Cappiello (Westfield, N.J.)
was 2-for-3 win a walk and a pair of singles.

Middlebury's final runs, and Plymouth added a pair in the
eighth.

first win of the season, while PSU sophomore starter Joe
Hudson (Greenfield, Mass.) fell to 0-4. John Popkowski and
