GENEVA, Ohio – Senior
Terrell Lewis (New Boston, N.H.) reached another historic mark on Saturday, becoming Plymouth State University track & field's second three-time All-American after a dynamic performance in the finals of the 110-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships at The SPIRE Institute on Saturday.
Lewis has been dominating the event all season and his performance in the finals of the national championship was no exception. Lewis exploded past his own season-best to take a fourth-place finish in a time of 14.23 seconds and capture his third All-America honors.
Lewis qualified for the finals after surviving a challenging preliminary field yesterday, crossing the line in 14.58 seconds to post the eighth-fastest time of the day. Five of the six members of his heat earned spots in the nine-man final.
Lewis earned his previous All-American honors in last year's 110-meter hurdles, with his first recognition coming at the 2019-20 indoor championships in the 60-meter hurdles. He concludes an illustrious career by joining Sam Brunnette as the program's only three-time All-Americans.
