MANSFIELD, Conn. – The Plymouth State University men's outdoor track & field team set five program records and saw seven podium finishes to place sixth at the Little East Conference (LEC) Championship at Mansfield Outdoor Complex on Saturday.
Freshman
Griffin Massahos (Londonderry, N.H.) led the charge on the track with a program-record sprint to silver in the 100 meters and another runner-up finish in the 200, while the Panthers' 4x400 and 4x100-meter relay teams also set new standards. Freshman
Cam Lee (Northwood, N.H.) added an individual program mark in the 400-meter hurdles.

Enzo Valenti (Montville, Conn.) broke the school record in the discus to earn bronze, while junior
Ben Colby (Manchester, N.H.) and senior
Max Goodman (South Salem, N.Y.) won silver medals in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5,000 meters, respectively. Plymouth State's 4x400-meter relay also took home a silver medal, while senior
Zach Hodge (Springfield, N.H.) claimed the bronze in the 400 meters.
Plymouth State secured 79 points to place sixth in the team standings.

Meet Highlights:
- Massahos turned in a standout meet, qualifying second in the 100-meter prelims before sprinting to a program-record 10.84 in the finals to earn silver.
- Massahos added a second runner-up finish in the 200 meters, crossing in 22.21.
- Colby claimed silver in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:53.03, while junior Cooper O'Neil (Millbury, Mass.) added a sixth-place finish in 10:01.73.
- Goodman paced a strong distance showing in the 5,000 meters, placing second in 15:25.75. Sophomore Noah Francis (Bethlehem, N.H.) and junior Angelo DeLuca (Lynnfield, Mass.) followed in fifth (15:46.63) and sixth (15:48.41), respectively.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of freshman Jiasen Smith (Lisbon, N.H.), Lee, sophomore Isaias Aguasvivas Pena (Marblehead, Mass.) and Hodge shattered the program record with a silver-medal time of 3:22.82.
- Valenti earned bronze in the discus with a school-record throw of 45.99 meters, and also competed in the shot put (13.03m).
- Hodge added an individual bronze in the 400 meters, clocking 50.47.
- Lee, sophomore Gabe Kean (Thornton, N.H.), Smith and Massahos combined for a program-record 42.43 in the 4x100-meter relay, placing fourth.
- Junior Nathan Beauregard (Merrimack, N.H.), Colby, junior Connor Phillips (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and senior Luke Cloutier (Lyman, Maine) narrowly missed the podium in the 4x800-meter relay, finishing fourth in 8:17.05.
- Juniors Shea McLaughlin (Byfield, Mass.) and Elijah Thomas (Stoughton, Mass.) both reached the finals in the 110-meter hurdles, placing sixth (15.99) and eighth (16.13), respectively.
- Lee added a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, setting a program record with a time of 55.28.
- Junior Kole Matta (Castleton, Vt.) placed ninth in the javelin (43.93m).
- Beauregard recorded a ninth-place finish in the 1,500 meters (4:16.77), while Cloutier added a ninth-place effort in the 800 meters (1:59.52).
