WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Senior
Jacob Rigoli (Essex, Vt.) scored in his second event of the weekend to help the Plymouth State University men's outdoor track & field team place 19th overall at the NCAA Division III New England Championships hosted by Williams College on Saturday.
Rigoli started the day by snagging a sixth-place finish in the discus throw with a toss of 42.74 meters, just less than a meter off his school record. His performance earned him his second All-New England honor of the weekend after his performance in the hammer throw yesterday.
Rigoli was responsible for all 11 points to put Plymouth State in a tie for 19th out of the 31 scoring teams in attendance. The Panthers were the third-highest scoring team from the Little East Conference.
