WATERFORD, Conn. – Sophomore 
Noah Francis (Bethlehem, N.H.) approached a career-best time to lead the Plymouth State University men's cross country team at the Connecticut College Invitational at Harkness Memorial State Park on Saturday.
 
In a meet that featured 12 nationally-ranked teams, Francis crossed the line in 25:36.20 to finish in the top-100, less than two seconds off his personal best. Senior 
Max Goodman (South Salem, N.Y.) wasn't far off the pace, clocking a 25:43.90 to finish 12 spots back.
 
PSU finished 29th out of 34 teams in the varsity race, within striking distance of LEC rivals Keene State and UMass Dartmouth. The Panthers head to the LEC Championship in two weeks.
 
Senior 
Dan Daschbach-Eaton (Exeter, N.H.) was four seconds shy of his season best in the JV race, crossing the line in 28:42.90.
