PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The top performer on the Plymouth State University wrestling team remains among the elite in his weight class, as the latest New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Individual Rankings were announced Monday.

Chase Anestis (Belmont, N.H.) is ranked fourth at 165 pounds following a strong first half of the season. Anestis is 8-3 to date, including three pins without surrendering a fall, and recently recorded the 78th victory of his career.
He has placed at both tournaments he has competed in this season, finishing second at the Roger Williams Invitation on Nov. 8, and taking fourth at the Ted Reese Invitational on Dec. 6, the team's final competition of the first semester.
Anestis and the Panthers return to the mat on Jan. 10 when they travel to the Merchant Marine Academy for the Mariner Duals. PSU will face NYU, Hunter College, and host Merchant Marine during the event.
