PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's indoor track & field team combined for four individual event wins to top a trio of NCAA Division II programs at the season-opening PSU Winter Classic at the Bank of New Hampshire Field House at ALLWell North on Friday afternoon.
Freshman
Clare Tuohy (Sunapee, N.H.) claimed victory in the 200 meters, while sophomore transfer
Amelia Lefebvre (Greenland, N.H.) took home the win in the 600 meters in their PSU debuts.
Sophomore
Mia Sweeney (Plymouth, Mass.) won the mile run with a personal-best time, and freshman
Linda Cosmes (Billerica, Mass.) topped the field in the 1000 meters.
Tuohy also anchored PSU's winning 4x200-meter relay team alongside sophomores
Olivia Rudy (Hudson, N.H.) and
Eila Trottier (Francestown, N.H.) and freshman
Sophie West (Rochester, N.H.).
Plymouth State edged Southern New Hampshire University by five points to finish first overall.

Meet Highlights:
- Tuohy, freshman La'Anna Draper (Fitchburg, Mass.), sophomore Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.), and senior Cass Hanson (Stetson, Maine) all qualified for the 60-meter finals, with Tuohy and Draper in third and fourth after prelims. Draper placed third in the finals in 8.15, with Tuohy finishing fifth in 8.20.
- Tuohy won the 200 meters with a time of 26.84, while Hanson (28.13) edged freshman Sophie West (Rochester, N.H.) and Draper as the trio placed third, fourth and fifth.
- Lefebvre won the 600 meters in 1:50.67.
- Sweeney and junior Abby Bergeron (Essex, Vt.) posted personal records to finish one-two in the mile run. Sweeney crossed the line in 5:49.98, with Bergeron close behind in 5:50.96.
- Rudy, Trottier, West, and Tuohy combined to win the 4x200-meter relay in 1:53.05.
- Cosmes earned the win in the 1000 meters in 3:39.28.
- Senior Megan Moynihan (Hingham, Mass.) qualified fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in 10.80, then shaved one one-hundredth of a second in the finals to finish fourth.
- Sophomores Sofia D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) and Haley Greenwood (Laconia, N.H.) placed third and fourth in the 400 meters with times of 1:07.91 and 1:08.13.
- Flynn and Lefebvre finished second and fourth in the high jump. Flynn cleared 1.55 meters, while Lefebvre cleared 1.50 meters.
- Senior Olivia Neely (Old Town, Maine) placed second in the weight throw with a mark of 9.91 meters.
- Lefebvre (10.10 meters) and Neely (9.72 meters) were fourth and fifth in the shot put.
