PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Fresh off a victory at the season-opening PSU Winter Classic, the Plymouth State University women's indoor track & field team has earned Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Track Relay of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.
 
Sophomores Olivia Rudy (Hudson, N.H.) and Eila Trottier (Francestown, N.H.) teamed up with freshmen Sophie West (Rochester, N.H.) and Clare Tuohy (Sunapee, N.H.) in the 4x200-meter relay, clocking a winning time of 1:53.05 on Friday afternoon.
 
Plymouth State enjoyed an impressive start to the season, collecting four individual event victories in addition to the relay win to place first overall – finishing ahead of three NCAA Division II programs in the final standings.
 
The Panthers return to action at the Middlebury Snowflake Invitational on Jan. 10.
