PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's track & field team found multiple first place finishes to take a second place team finish at the PSU Alumni Meet at the Bank of New Hampshire Field House at ALLWell North on Saturday.
The 4x200-meter relay team of senior
Montana Casa (Storrs Mansfield, Conn.), junior
Cass Hanson (Stetson, Maine), and freshman
Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) and
Olivia Rudy (Hudson, N.H.) jumpstarted the day with a combined time of 1:52.78 to win the event by roughly seven seconds.
Senior
Abigail Snow (Grantham, N.H.) won the first individual event when she cruised in the 800-meters to cross the line in 2:32.63. Freshman
Mia Sweeney (Plymouth, Mass.) followed suit in the 3,000-meters with a winning time of 11:14.62.
In the field events, sophomore
Emma Couturier (Turner, Maine) won the long jump after clearing 5.00 meters.
To cap off the day, the 4x400-meter relay of junior
Isabel Costa (Harrisville, R.I.), freshmen
Eila Trottier (Francestown, N.H.) and
Sofia D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.), and sophomore
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) won in a time of 4:31.68.
Plymouth State trailed only NCAA Division II St. Anselm in the team scores.

How it Happened:
- The 4x200-meter relay foursome of Casa, Hanson, Flynn and Rudy won the event in 1:52.78.
- Casa joined up with freshman Haley Greenwood (Laconia, N.H.) in the 400-meters for second and third place finishes in 1:08.26 and 1:09.14, respectively.
- The trio of Snow, sophomore Abby Bergeron (Essex, Vt.) and Costa swept the top three spots in the 800-meters with times of 2:32.63, 2:37.08, and 2:39.65.
- Flynn and Hanson tackled the 200-meters, coming in second and third in 27.49 and 27.54 seconds.
- Sweeney won the 3,000-meters in a time of 11:14.62.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Costa, Trottier, D'Addona and Karow won in a combined time of 4:31.68.
- Couturier won the long jump with a leap of 5.00 meters.
- Junior Kylie Taylor (Boxford, N.H.) and senior Libby McIntyre (Greene, Maine) placed second and third in the weight throw with marks of 13.20 and 12.98 meters.
