MANCHESTER, N.H. – Sophomore
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) and freshman
Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) highlighted the Plymouth State University women's track & field team at the SNHU Spring Invite hosted by Southern New Hampshire University at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium on Friday.
Karow continued to make history as she shattered the previous program record in the mile run by nearly 20 full seconds, finishing fourth in 5:29.92.
Flynn came close to a program mark herself in the 400-meter hurdles by just tenths of a second when she crossed the line in 1:07.96 to win the event. Her time was roughly two seconds ahead of the next closest competitor.
The non-scoring meet featured several NCAA Division II competitors.

How it Happened:
- The 4x100-meter relay team of seniors Montana Casa (Storrs Mansfield, Conn.) and Paige Hurst (Pelham, N.H.), junior Cass Hanson (Stetson, Maine) and Flynn flirted with a program record, finishing in 50.65 seconds to place third overall.
- Karow came in fourth in the mile with a record-breaking time of 5:29.92.
- The duo of freshman Haley Greenwood (Laconia, N.H.) and senior Abigail Snow (Grantham, N.H.) placed fifth and sixth in the 400-meters with times of 1:05.97 and 1:06.06, respectively.
- Flynn won the 400-meter hurdles in a blazing 1:07.96.
- Hurst placed seventh in the 200-meters in 27.24 seconds.
- Karow and Greenwood joined freshman Sofia D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) and junior Isabel Costa (Harrisville, R.I.) in the 4x400-meter relay for a third place finish in 4:29.24.
- Sophomore Olivia Neely (Old Town, Maine) took eighth in the shot put with a toss of 28.86 meters.
