Emma Talon (Southington, Conn.) were individual event winners as the Plymouth State University women's indoor track & field team tied for third place at the Panther Invitational at Bank of New Hampshire Field House in ALLWell North on Saturday.
Karow cruised to the win in the 800-meter run, while Talon was the first to cross the finish line in the mile run. Flynn tied for first in the high jump, while nearly matching the program record during the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles. PSU's 4x800-meter relay squad of junior

Meet Highlights:
- Talon topped the field in the mile run in 5:35.21, while junior Molly Glew (Plymouth, N.H.) was fifth in 5:50.28.
- Karow won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:27.79, while Flynn cleared 1.55 meters in the high jump to tie for first. Sophomore Amelia Lefebvre (Greenland, N.H.) tied for sixth after clearing 1.45 meters.
- Bergeron, Sweeney, Fernald, and Karow teamed up in the 4x800-meter relay to post a winning time of 10:41.07.
- Freshman Clare Tuohy (Sunapee, N.H.) placed second in the 200 meters, crossing the line in 26.69 seconds. Hanson was 10th with a season-best 27.73.
- Sophomores Haley Greenwood (Laconia, N.H.), Eila Trottier (Francestown, N.H.), Olivia Rudy (Hudson, N.H.), and Sofia D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) combined for a 4:35.28 to place third in the 4x400-meter relay.
- Flynn approached the program record with a 9.59 in the 60-meter hurdles prelims to qualify fourth. Her time was a personal record and just 0.04 seconds shy of the program mark. She finished fourth in the finals with a 9.67.
- Bergeron set a new personal record by more than a minute in the 5,000-meter run, finishing fifth in 19:51.80. Sweeney was sixth in 19:54.46.
- Tuohy and Hanson both qualified for the finals in the 60 meters with prelim times of 8.12 and 8.32, respectively. Tuohy finished sixth in the finals in 8.13, while Hanson set a new PR of 8.24 to finish eighth.
- Freshman Sophie West (Rochester, N.H.) and D'Addona were eighth and ninth in the 400 meters. West set a PR with a time of 1:07.17, while D'Addona finished in 1:07.80.
- Junior Emma Couturier (Turner, Maine) was eighth in the long jump with a mark of 4.70 meters.
- Neely took 10th in the weight throw with a heave of 10.70 meters.
- Sophomore Florence Schaumloffel (New Ipswich, N.H.) set a PR in the 3,000 meters with a time of 13:55.22 to place ninth.
- Neely added a season-best mark of 9.73 meters in the shot put to place 11th.
