CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Freshman
Clare Tuohy (Sunapee, N.H.) and junior
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) were the top performers for the Plymouth State University women's indoor track & field team at the Gordon Kelly Invitational hosted by MIT at the Johnson Athletic Center Track on Saturday.
Competing against a field that included several NCAA Division I and II competitors, in addition to Division III regional powers, Tuohy secured an event win in the 400-meter dash. Karow added a third-place finish in the 800-meter run.
Sophomore
Ani Flynn (Plymouth, N.H.) also had a strong day, taking 10th in the high jump and 14th in the 60-meter hurdles.
The meet was non-scoring.
The Basics:

Meet Highlights:
- Tuohy won the 400-meter dash in 1:00.02, topping multiple Division I and II competitors in the field.
- Karow had a podium finish in the 800-meter run, taking third in 2:22.14.
- Flynn was 10th in the high jump with a mark of 1.48 meters. She added a 14th-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles after posting a time of 9.77 seconds.
- Senior Cass Hanson (Stetson, Maine) posted an 8.41 in the 60-meter dash to place 34th, just ahead of freshman Sophie West (Rochester, N.H.), who was 39th in 8.45 seconds.
- Sophomore Amelia Lefebvre (Greenland, N.H.) and Hanson were neck-and-neck in the 200-meter dash. Lefebvre crossed the line in 28.06 seconds to finish 20th, while Hanson was 21st in 28.11 seconds.
- Freshman Madison Geddes (Penacook, N.H.) was 15th in the 600-meter run after clocking a 1:48.47.
- Freshman Emma Talon (Southington, Conn.) ran a 3:12.59 in the 1,000-meters to place 16th.
- Junior Abby Bergeron (Essex, Vt.) was 31st in the mile run with a time of 5:40.77.
- Lefebvre added a 21st-place finish in the high jump (1.43 meters) and took 30th in the shot put (9.72 meters).
- Senior Olivia Neely (Old Town, Maine) was 34th in the shot put with a heave of 9.22 meters, and 38th in the weight throw after a toss of 9.59 meters.
