CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Five of six Plymouth State University men's outdoor track & field entrants posted personal-best times in the 1,500 meters at the Sean Collier Invitational, hosted by MIT at Sherie and Don Morrison Track on Saturday.
Senior
Max Goodman (South Salem, N.Y.) led the group with a personal-best 4:10.39 to place 10th in a field of 54 entrants that included NCAA Division I and III athletes. Juniors
Angelo DeLuca (Lynnfield, Mass.),
Ben Colby (Manchester, N.H.),
Nathan Beauregard (Merrimack, N.H.), and
Cooper O'Neil (Millbury, Mass.) also recorded personal-best performances. DeLuca finished 14th in 4:13.30, Colby was 16th in 4:15.12, Beauregard placed 24th in 4:20.74, and O'Neil was 28th in 4:22.43. Junior
Connor Phillips (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) also competed for the Panthers, finishing 36th in 4:30.69.
Plymouth State heads to the Little East Conference Championship hosted by Eastern Connecticut State next Saturday (Apr. 25).
